Part of your World for Love is in the airThe large courtyard was decorated with white and pink rose bushes. The green leaves attached to the tree branches flourished making the trees look tall and proud. A gardener busied himself to take care of the plants in the garden.
Just a little beyond the row of trees stood a playground. A young woman sat on top of the slide staring up at the clear sky.
Footsteps crunched softly against the grass stems. “She has changed her attitude remarkably towards you. Do you think she’s starting to fall in love with you?”
Kouga questioned as he observed the young woman speculating the wonder of nature. He marveled the length of long hair and the lean long legs.
Sesshomaru gave his friend a side glance, before he looked in Rin’s direction. “Who knows, she is good at lying. “
“Come on, Sesshomaru. Kagome is your wife, shouldn’t you at least be happy that she’s only yours.” Kouga stated. He frowned at his friend. Kouga had always liked Kagom
Chapter One: More than friends“Here is your chardonnay and cocktail drinks. Is there anything else that I can provide for you?”
The bartender smiled friendly at the cute couple before he was dismissed with a good tip.
“So how about it? Are you interested in playing a bet of love with me?”
“Yeah, sure why not.” Deep laughter before the voice continues speaking. “I’d like to see that happen!” The tone of voice was sarcastic, but implied interest.
“I’ll go ahead and make the arrangement to have those two live together under one roof.”
“That’s sounds perfect.” The voice was soft and feminine.
Ocher eyes stared arrogantly into chocolate brown eyes. The female placed a hand on his shoulder and the other on his leg. “You haven’t invited me to dance yet. So how about it?”
“Let’s finish our drinks first, before we go dancing. There’s no rush.”
“Fine, Fine.” An exasperated sigh escap

Rin swam up to the surface and took in the beauty of the night sky. She allowed the waves to lead her towards the seashore. “I wonder if I’ll see my prince, tonight.”
It was a simple whisper of her desires as Rin’s attention was then captivated by the silhouette walking down the concrete stairs that eventually connected to the sand of the beach.
Jaken stopped on the last step of the stairway grimacing at the sand. “Your highness, are you here? Prince Sesshomaru, your father has summoned you to appear before him. Where are you?!”
The short butler surveyed the beach area looking for a trace of the prince. He worried for a brief moment that the prince had gone inside the water for a quick swim, but he knew it was impossible. Sesshomaru was brought up to have the most proper manners and the prince would never be caught swimming in the ocean like some poor fisherman peasant.
A seashell smacked Jaken’s sh

I tried to calm my beating heart from being bewildered from his earlier words. Surely, he was playing with me. We are not in character or playing a role that would lead us to do such an act, like kissing. Of course, Tsuruga-san has mentioned that it is just practice for the role, so that meant that it did involve in getting into character, before practicing the kissing scene, right?
‘Is it really alright to do this?’ I wondered trying to pretend that his words didn’t startle me.
“Mogami-san, I was only jesting with you. Don’t worry about the scene, I’m sure everything will work out and you’ll be able to do an outstanding job.” Ren spoke earnestly trying to break the tension between them.
He would love to have the opportunity to kiss Kyoko, but he knew that he wanted to share a real kiss with her and not a kiss that was part of an acting role. Of course that didn’t mean tha
Teaser: Road to Love third chapterThe maid approached her patron with a glass of juice in her hands. “Here is your afternoon drink, lady Kikyo.”
“Thank you,”Kikyo said as she received the drink. She gave a sideway glance to the maid.
“One more thing. Has the commander finished talking with Naraku and left the house?”
“Yes, he just left. He bid his farewell to the lady.” The maid informed her patron.
“Leave me be,” Kikyo stated waving her hand aside. The maid nodded silently before walking away.
Kikyo knew that Naraku had hired Commander William’s service to bring Rin and Souten back home, safely. The commander was well-known to chase villains. The rumor was that he was chasing down the whereabouts of the Silverado that were a group of bandits that stole from the rich.
‘I wonder if it was a good idea to hire that man.’ Kikyo thought in earnest.
Naraku stood inside his office with the window curtains closed. His desk was a mess as documents wer

Xiaoyu stared at the falling rain with a face of solemn. The expression on her face was rare, something Jin never thought he’d witness. Xiao was always cheerful and full of energy. She was a very good friend to others and a strong, skillful fighter.
He was still trying to figure out where his feeling stood for Xiaoyu. Was she just a close friend or did his feelings for her run deeper.
Jin did know one thing and that was that he hoped Xiaoyu would defeat him in a
tournament. He looked forward to a good fight with her.
Xiaoyu released a soft sigh, before shaking her head trying to dissolve her worries. She didn’t want to think about Jin and his alter ego’s desire to rule the world. She knew that it was all part of the devil gene that Jin inherited from his father, Kazuya. Deep down, she knew her good friend Jin would never be interested in world domination.
“Xiaoyu,” Jin called out getting her attention.
Xiaoyu smiled brightly, “Jin, I was wonderin
HomesickI am the river's son,
my arteries flowing turquoise
and turning to rapids
rushing around my frame,
filling me with this sense
of buoyancy, minnows
tickling my sternum.
I am the river's son.
My palms caress each
silty shoreline, every
battered bank and bend,
and these places I know
so well become me
as my fingerprint,
even the bridge above me
inflamed by the afternoon
sun-glow, burning rusty and
the steel blue sky.
I am the river's son;
I bring my home along
like hermit crab,
where I step
I pull water from the earth.
