Rin placed her suitcase on top of their bed as she started packing all the essentials for the weekend. She made sure to pack her pajamas, a pair of normal clothes, all her toiletries, makeup, heels, underwear and socks, and her phone charger.

She had her Tiffa costume hanging in a dress bag on the back of her door, while her Chihiro costume and all her costumes’ accessories including her wigs were packed in a separate suitcase.

She manages to fill up her suitcase and closes her bag when she notices a gap.
Rin groans to herself, before she calls out to him.

“Sesshomaru!”

Not a minute had passed, before Sesshomaru walks out from the bathroom. “What’s wrong?”

“I can’t zip up my suitcase. Can you help me?”

“Ok.”

He walks over and puts his weight on the suitcase with his arms, as Rin tugs on the jammed zipper.

“Can you get it closed enough?”

“Almost, it’s just that this zipper always gets stuck.”

“Hm,”

“I got it!” Rin grins up at him, as she manages to close the zippers.

“Are you done packing?”

“Yes, I got everything on my checklist.” Sesshomaru answers. He had already packed all his essentials, including his spare toothbrush and toothpaste.

“Yay, good. It looks like everything went well, despite leaving the packing on the day before we leave.”

“Yes you’re right, though it’s always better to pack ahead of time.”

Sesshomaru turns to look at her other blue suitcase and notices that her zipper isn’t closed fully. “Look Rin you forgot to zip this one up.”

“No!” Rin manages to exclaim very late, as she watches Sesshomaru pull on the zipper and having the seam pop open, rendering the bag useless.

“Ah, sorry about that.” Sesshomaru gives an apologetic nod.

“I-it’s ok, I can just borrow a suitcase from Kagome. She recently brought a whole luggage set and I’m sure she can spare a suitcase.

“Are you sure she won’t mind? I can always buy you a new suitcase.”

“Hm, no, I’m sure. The most Kagome will do is probably ask me for photos poses of our cosplays.”

“Hn, not sure that I like that idea.”

“Does it bother you, the idea of having your photo taken? I’m sure they will be people asking for our photos at the con.” Rin asks, tilting her head to the side to catch a glimpse of his expression. The room had started to darken.

“It doesn’t bother me having strangers take photos of us, but our friends is a different matter. They could very well use the photographic evidence to harass me when I go hang out with them.”

“Oh come on, Sesshomaru, you know Kagome wouldn’t use the photos for that. Besides, if it does happen, I can always give you an embarrassing photo of Inuyasha, and you can use that if they try anything.”

“Alright, well, come on, let’s go get that suitcase.”

“Great!” Rin smiles as she reaches to hold his hand before they leave the house.
